Chief Executive, Croydon Commitment (part-time)
£40,000 - £50,000 pa, pro rata, depending on experience
We are a small charity, founded in 2004 to help Croydon business get the best value and impact from community engagement activities. We work with businesses to optimise the quality and value of their community investment through planned programmes of employee engagement, partnerships and community activity to meet local need, boost corporate social responsibility benefit and capitalise on the opportunities of a changing Borough.
We’re looking for a new Chief Executive who will:
Lead and shape the continued development of the Croydon Commitment, building on our solid foundations, recognised as a strong, respected and valued partner in the Borough
Add measurable value to members, while meeting the needs of the Borough, its business community and its residents.
Inspire partners, members, directors and the team; developing pragmatic solutions to take the charity forward into a new chapter.
You will be an experienced senior manager, director or CEO, and have strong leadership and strategic management skills, with the capability to lead the organisation into its next phase with integrity, confidence and vision.
You will be good at engaging businesses and bringing people together with common purpose; capable of developing the charity’s reach and impact, strengthening our reputation and positioning the Croydon Commitment effectively with a unique high profile, high quality offer and programme of activity to its members and partners that meets the needs of the Borough and its residents.
You will have strong management skills, with the ability to achieve positive results from people and situations, focusing effort to achieve measurable impact for the benefit of stakeholders.
