Croydon BID is one of the largest geographical Business Improvement Districts in the country covering virtually the entire Town Centre and encompassing one of the largest shopping districts and office hubs outside central London. Click here for a map of the BID area.
With a long and varied history dating back at least as far as the Domesday Book in 1086, Croydon is an interesting mix of old and new and is currently undergoing massive change.
Construction work is already under way on a range of projects which form part of Croydon Council’s five linked masterplans and a major upgrade of East Croydon, the town’s principal railway station is scheduled for 2013 with various other development schemes sanctioned to take place over the next few years. Working together with key stakeholders, our aim is to ensure that Croydon continues to prosper and grow, becoming a first class destination for everyone to do business.
